We officially accepted an offer on our house!!
{GULP}
This is a little real & a little scary all of the sudden.
The only glitch, the house we wanted, sold. So we are now in crunch time to find something!! Or we may soon find ourselves homeless!
Next step, cross our fingers everything goes well with the inspection....
Memorial Weekend
Memorial Weekend.... we traveled up to visit Addie & Ava. The kids ROCKED our 6 hour car trip {turned 7 hour car trip adding in food & potty stops} We put the boys in diapers because we're lazy like that & packed a little potty. I think Logan was wet once on the way there & stayed dry until that last short stretch home. Hayden was wet twice each way I think, but did still pee in the potty everytime we stopped. We stopped 3x each way. Often to just pull out a little potty & water bottle alongside a gravel road. And Livi of course was no potty issue. They watched movies. Snacked. And traveled great.
They had a fun time playing with all the girls' things.
Um... or Uncle Aaron's things!!
Saturday was kind of cold & rainy.... so we hung inside. Ate WAY too much. And tried to take some self portraits!! Tried....
Ok one out of 100 isn't bad!
Got Addie too!!
We got in some papa wrestle time....
And went "swimming" in Aunt Tisha's "big one" bath tub.
We slept pretty darn well in our sleeping bags, and napped fantastic. So much better than our past trips up there!!
Sunday the weather did a 180 on us. It was 90+ & humid!! The guys got their project for the weekend done.....so we all headed out to try it out!
How is she so big??!
How can he even have a grump face while swinging?
Meanwhile Logan & his cars ran up & down the hill. It was no problem & not scary coming down this year!!
Love her beyond words!!
After a nap, we busted out the little pool. Its been a while since our kids have gone swimming. They weren't too sure at first.
But that didn't last too long!
Aaron & Hayden had a water fight too!!
Then there was Logan, who still wasn't too sure...

Then when he got in... he was upset that "mine pull-up all wet." He didn't like having a wet swim diaper since it was pull-up like. This could be a problem!!!
He did eventually swim..... comando! And as we were draining the pool.
They weren't exactly ready to be done!!!
So we moved the party inside (& added some soap!)
Monday we ate breakfast & made some pretty pictures on Tisha & Aaron's sidewalk before we headed home.
My attempts at a picture of the 4 of them....
Heading home!
Thank you to all those soldiers who have given their lives that we may enjoy the freedoms we took for granted on this fun family weekend. Thank you to those who are currently serving. Those who have served. And those who hope to one day serve.
I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
Its an old-ish post but since I'm linking back, stop by & check out Capri +3 & link up with Multiples Mondays.
ENOUGH!
Lets recap:
5 weeks ago. Everybody has a cold. Hayden at pediatrician, looking awful. AWFUL! Fever. Ear infection. Antibiotics. Continued talks of big tonsils.
1.5 weks ago. Logan at pediatrician for goopy eyes after weeks of snot. Ears ok. Hum?
Last 4 weeks, kids sleep like poop. Hayden wakes everyone up at crack of dawn. Logan continues to have mildly goopy eyes (not red eyes, not pink eye! I've got that one down.)
Past 4-5 days. Hayden periodically tells us "I have puke in my mouth." We spend days trying to figure out what the heck he means. Hayden not throwing up. Says he does not have "owies." So confused.
Sunday. Logan snot back in full force & drooling up a storm.
Tuesday. 3 kids with fevers. 100. 101. And 102.7.
Pediatrician calls in Logan antibiotics based on recent eye goop & on & off runy nose, assuming ear infection. Fevers gone in less than 24 hours.
Mom still not happy about Haydens complaints on going of "puke in mouth" & insists something is wrong. Makes dad call in sick to work to take him to see the pediatrician. (Can your husband do this!)
Wednesday.
Logan's ears look fine, but mama swears he's got a sinus infection or something. Just based on his behavior, he is not 100% well. So we'll continue above said course of Omnicef.
Pediatrician says about Hayden..."His tonsils are so huge I'm not sure how he has been swallowing!"
POOR BOY!!! Thank you Hayden for telling us something was wrong! And where to at least look.
Still not sure what those fevers were about, {other than a notice from God to pay a little more attention to what Hayden was saying!}
And thus begins yet another round of antibiotics for Hayden treating who knows what? Not sure what made his tonsils swell from "big" to "HUGE" in the past 5 weeks. But thus begins our journey down the trail of... how long do you want to bet it is before those suckers some out?? (And do you think I can get a 3 for 1 deal? Its inevivitable, right?)
Plan is, if it doesn't get better, we'll be back soon. (obviously!!) And if he seems better, we'll wait & follow-up in a month. If tonsils still monsterous then, its off to an ENT. He snores. He drools. I'm not surprised, I've seen it coming. I just don't want to drag it out over months of sickness, sleeplessness & missery. I'm already collecting ENT recomendations (& non-recommendations)... so feel free to share!
So prayers for a successful path to healing (whatever that might mean)!

Zoo!!!!
Took our first trip to the zoo for the "season." We went with "my friend Ryan," as Livi will tell you & had a great time.
I need to re-vamp my zoo plan though. Last year we took the choo-choo wagon & they just got out here or there. This year.... not so much. They did well at the beginning, but by the end I was pulling a huge wagon, chasing 3 toddlers & carrying around a backpack {that I dare not put in the wagon in "my seat."} Not sure if there is something better to take in? I don't think they are ready to do it without a ride/break. And if/when they get tired I can't carry all 3 of them to the car! {Not that pulling a wagon full of 90 pounds of toddler is easy either!} Gonna hafta work on this.... But all in all a fun morning.
The boys went wearing pull-ups.... and after 1 & 2/3 successful trips to the potty.... we all left with dry pants! Yay for picking a good day to have a good potty day!
Penguins
They said "BIG crab... yuck!"
Jelly Fish
They were super excited to see monkeys!
Finally big enough to sit/swing on the vine. Logan didn't want to. And no one would look at the camera :(
Giraffe!
And last but not least, gorillas.
Ah....... summer!
