The "very very" song

I LOVE my kids' school.  Love.  So beyond words glad that we found it!  They are learning so, so much.  And they are developing such social personalities.  They are cracking out of their shy little shells little by little!  And actually say they are excited to have a Miss Beth & Miss Jessica & Miss "Susan" (who I think is actually Miss Season) day!  Their interactions & ability to play actually WITH eachother has improved drastically over the past 6 weeks & while I am sure it is in part due to age & the normal course, I think it has been greatly supplemented by school & the social interactions & modeling they get there.

Livi has spent the last 2 weeks asking me to sing the "very very" song.  When I tell her I don't know it, she gets a pouty face & says "school knows it!"  Sorry sista, but I've not heard any "very very" song that I know of.

Fast forward to yesterday.  I was doing the dishes & having a little fun while I did them.... channeling my inner cheerleader....

.......she was off playing & singing (because she sings 98% of her waking minutes.)  Honestly she sings & sings & sings.  She sings to sleep.  She sings to her babies.  She plays pretend birthday parties & sings.  Oh how she loves to sing.  Anyways, she was playing & singing..... "very-very, very-very,...... March & April" over & over.  And it dawned on me!!  The "Very-very" song was infact supposed to be "January- February" & it was the months of the year song (which I'm pretty sure I have heard somewhere through my childhood!)  I proceeded to sing the rest of the months of the year & her face just lit up!  Ding-ding!  I got it!

And both boys can officially (when they want to) count to 10 unassisted.  And Liv can almost count to 20!  She gets a little confused in the teens, but if you get her from 13-16, she's usually got it!  And Hayden actually does well with the months song too.

They have just grown up so much this past month.  Its amazing to see.
She's being a little nerdy for the camera, but in the beginning I got some version of the "Very-very" song!
