Catch the Moment

Its June.  Pools are open.  Jeff is officially "off."  And the weather is.... well it's not June weather, that's for sure. 

I stumbled across a 3 person slip & slide & just knew we had to have it.  I had promised the kids this morning after they had cleaned up their toys we'd get out & set it up.  Thinking, by the time they cleaned up & we got ready it would be warm. 

Wrong.
It was warm-ish, but windy.  So it felt pretty cool.  It did warm up some in the afternoon while they napped.  {And I got myself a nap out in the sun}  But regardless of the fact that the weather was less than ideal, they had a blast!  This is mostly full of a ton of pictures, but it was too much fun to not post them all!

They couldn't really dive & slide & make it to the end.  They more scooted along, or ran with their feet & splashed at the end.  But they had a blast.

Over & over & over.  And it was SUCH a blessing that this had THREE lanes to slide so there was not lines, or taking turns, or fighting, or tears.  One Sunday at work I randomly was looking at the Sunday ads & saw one in a Kmart flyer.  Then 2 days later, stumbled across one at Walmart.

Best $12 ish dollars ever spent.

Then we warmed up inside in a cozy blanket fort.

Did you notice we finally got Liv's new glasses this weekend.  Super cute!

A little bit more of a square frame than she's usually had, but I like them.  Can you see the little silver dots on the outside edges of the lenses?

Turns her glasses into this!!  And those magnets snap tight.  I'm so anxious to use them more.
