Its the end of the world as we know it...

After the 3 kiddos mastered the art of escaping from their pack & plays this weekend....

This morning I awoke to a BOOM!  And stumbled out of bed only to be met at the bedroom door by 2 tots... the 3rd one not far behind with 1 leg over the crib rail. 

Excuse my choice of words but... SHIT!  What now?!?!

I knew this day was coming with Olivia.  But I'm still so not ready!  I was hoping to be the still in cribs at the age of 3 family.  I know crib tents in the world of "this mommy is better than that mommy" are controversial.  But remember world... I have not 1 tot to put back in bed over & over & over if the big wide world of toddler bed does not go well.  I have THREE.  Plus their room is definately not "toddler proofed" enough for big kid beds.  We still keep their bedroom door closed so they can't get in there 98% of the time.  Because somehow, in the blink of an eye, 3 kids make more than 3 times the mess....

So crib tents... anyone out there used them?  Pros?  Cons?  Worth the $$?  Or do we do a round of trying big kid beds first & see how it goes before investing?  Or say a prayer & do some dance to the god of sleep that they somehow forget this ability?

Or what do you do about their door at night?  Keep it closed?  I've heard suggestion of investing in a 1/2 door.
