Snow take 2!

The kids are feeling well enough that they are getting antsy to get out of the house.  But with coughs & snot I think they are still contageous & I don't want to spread RSV around.  AND I think they are fragile enough yet that a little cold or GI bug might buy us a bed back at Childrens.  So since we really have nowhere to go, we tried this snow thing again this afternoon.  And I must say, this is my type of winter.  Snow on the ground to play in, but reasonable temperatures!

Went over MUCH better this go-round.  Infact I'd call it success.  Still minimal ability for them to manuever through the tall snow.  Still 98% of the time Hayden remained gloveless.  A sled tip over here.... and a dog eating our snowman's head there... but overall a nice little break from our stuffy quarters.  And we stayed out long enough to be worth all the work it is to get 3 toddlers dressed in appropriate snow gear by yourself!

We brought out little shovels & trucks
 Logan was ornery about throwing snow balls!!
 We built a mini-snowman!!  Complete with raisins for eyes & a carrot nose!
 Livi thought it was pretty cool.  Found some sticks & tried to build her own.
 This is as close as Logan would get to it.
 This little girl got pretty darn brave about it!!  She had a great time!  {And came in, took her own pants & panties off, went pee in the potty all by herself & came out after putting her own panties & pants back on & exclaimed her pride  "Ya-ya pee a potty!!"  So she missed the wipe & wash hands stips, oh well.  Yay for independence!!}
 She said she was "Wimming.  Like a wa-wer."  {Swimming, like in the water}
